Best 1400 X 900 Shower Tray Options and Size Checks
A 1400 x 900 mm shower tray measures about 55.1 x 35.4 inches, and none of the listed products is confirmed to be a tray in that exact size. The closest useful options are a Duravit frame specified for 1400 x 900 mm trays, a smaller Schluter waterproofed tray, and a 900 x 900 mm Homgoday base. The remaining items are shower or bath accessories, not replacement trays. Check the dimensions and intended use before ordering.

Duravit Tempano 1400 X 900 Foot Frame
This Duravit product is a support frame, not a shower tray. It is listed for Tempano trays measuring 1400 x 900 mm, making it the most dimension-relevant item here for someone fitting a tray of that size. Its height is adjustable, with the supplied feature information stating a range of 0–100 mm.
Best for: Buyers who already have or plan to purchase a compatible Duravit Tempano tray and need its foot frame. It was selected because its stated footprint matches the requested tray dimensions.
Limitation: It does not include a tray according to the product name and description. Confirm compatibility with the specific tray before purchase.
Schluter Kerdi 39-Inch Shower Tray
The Schluter Kerdi product is a sloped shower tray measuring 39 x 39 inches, or about 991 x 991 mm. It has integrated Kerdi waterproofing and is specifically designed for use with Kerdi-Line. It is a genuine tray, but its square dimensions do not match a 1400 x 900 mm opening.
Best for: Buyers planning a Kerdi-Line installation who need a smaller square tray. It was selected as the listed product with an explicit tray function and waterproofing information.
Limitation: Do not treat it as a direct replacement for a 1400 x 900 mm tray; its dimensions and intended drain system differ.
Homgoday 90 X 90 Cm ABS Shower Tray
This Homgoday product is described as a 90 x 90 cm black shower tray. The listed features include a low threshold and polished ABS reinforced with fiberglass. Its square 900 x 900 mm footprint is substantially narrower than the requested 1400 x 900 mm size.
Best for: Buyers who want a compact square base and whose bathroom layout suits 900 x 900 mm. It was selected because it is a shower tray, although it is not the requested size.
Limitation: The description also refers to shower-wall furniture, so check the listing details to confirm exactly what is included. Do not assume it fits a 1400 x 900 mm space.
Castelmerlino Larch Corner Shower Gate
This item is a natural European larch corner shower gate, not a tray. Its description gives a 63 cm page, a 64 cm corner side, and states that it is for corner shower trays measuring 80 cm. The non-slip slatted profile is listed as 67 x 19 mm.
Best for: Buyers looking for a wooden corner accessory for a compatible 80 cm tray. It is included only as a related shower item, not as an alternative tray.
Limitation: Its stated use with an 80 cm corner tray does not establish suitability for a 1400 x 900 mm shower area.
Castelmerlino Larch Shower Accessory
This Castelmerlino product is a larch wood shower accessory listed at 49 x 79. Features include screwed slats, a non-slip profile, paint treatment, and beveled edges and corners. The listing also describes its larch as coming from European woods with controlled cutting.
Best for: Buyers seeking a slatted wood accessory rather than a shower base. It was selected as a related bathroom product from the supplied options.
Limitation: The supplied details do not identify it as a tray or confirm that it fits a 1400 x 900 mm tray.
Buying Guide: How To Choose A 1400 X 900 Shower Tray
Does the product need to measure exactly 1400 x 900 mm?
Measure the available floor opening and compare it with the manufacturer’s stated tray dimensions. A 1400 x 900 mm tray is rectangular; the listed 900 x 900 mm and 39 x 39 inch trays are smaller and square. Do not rely on approximate visual similarity or assume a different tray can be trimmed.
Is the item a tray, a frame, or an accessory?
Confirm the product type before buying. A tray forms the shower base, a frame supports a compatible tray, and a gate or slatted accessory does not replace either. The Duravit frame is the only item listed for the target footprint, but it is not itself the tray.
What should I check for installation?
Verify the tray’s drain position, intended waste system, installation method, and compatibility with the enclosure and floor. The supplied information identifies the Schluter tray for Kerdi-Line; it does not establish that it works with other systems. Ask the manufacturer or installer to confirm details not stated in the listing.
Which option is closest to the requested size?
The Duravit frame is specified for a 1400 x 900 mm tray, but it is support hardware. None of the listed products is confirmed as a complete shower tray in the exact requested dimensions. For an exact replacement, search for a tray listing that explicitly states 1400 x 900 mm.
