Best Curtain With Lights Backdrops for Weddings, Parties, and Photos
The best curtain with lights backdrop depends on your color preference, available height, and need for adjustable lighting. Xiomot’s champagne option suits warm, romantic displays, while its white version is a versatile choice for celebrations and photos. Fomcet is a useful pick if you want a rod pocket, and the taller Chesjin set offers 10-foot panels. Xiomot’s black backdrop creates a darker contrast. The options below include two sheer panels, warm-white lights, and clips, with specific features varying by set.

Xiomot Champagne Tulle Backdrop
Best for: Weddings, showers, and photo areas where a warm champagne tone fits the event palette. The set includes two 5-by-8-foot panels, a 10-foot USB-powered warm-white string light, and 12 transparent clips.
The two-layer polyester tulle is described as wrinkle-free, reusable, and naturally draping. Its lights have eight adjustment modes, giving buyers a choice of lighting effects for different settings. Choose this option if champagne fabric is a better match than standard white.
Limitation: The panels are 8 feet tall, so measure the hanging area before ordering. The light string requires USB power.
Xiomot White Tulle Backdrop
Best for: Buyers who want a classic white backdrop for birthdays, weddings, baby showers, or home photography. It includes two 5-by-8-foot panels, 10 feet of warm-white USB-powered string lights, and 12 transparent clips.
The two-layer polyester tulle is listed as collapsible, wrinkle-free, durable, and reusable. Eight light adjustment modes make this a better fit for shoppers who want multiple lighting effects included in the set. Its white fabric offers a neutral alternative to the champagne and black choices.
Limitation: The product information does not specify a remote control. Plan to use a USB power source and check whether 8-foot panels suit your display.
Fomcet White Backdrop With Rod Pocket
Best for: Shoppers who want a stated rod pocket for hanging. The set contains two 5-by-8-foot panels, a 10-foot USB-powered warm-light string, and 12 transparent clips. Each panel has a 6.7-inch rod pocket, which provides a direct hanging option when a suitable rod is available.
Fomcet describes the two-layer tulle as breathable, washable, foldable, and reusable. The lighting has different settings, including solid and blinking effects. Choose this set if the rod pocket is useful for your installation; the clips also offer another way to arrange the lights.
Limitation: The listing says there is no remote control. Confirm your USB power arrangement and rod dimensions before setting up.
Xiomot Black Tulle Backdrop
Best for: Displays that call for black fabric and warm-white lighting. The package includes two 5-by-8-foot panels, a 10-foot USB-powered light string, and 12 transparent clips. Its eight light adjustment modes match the listed Xiomot champagne and white sets.
The two-layer polyester tulle is described as well-stitched, wrinkle-free, collapsible, and reusable. This set is a distinct alternative to white or champagne when the backdrop needs a darker visual field. It can also help buyers keep the same panel size and listed lighting features while changing color.
Limitation: The product details do not list a remote control or a rod pocket. Check how you intend to hang the fabric before choosing it.
Chesjin White 10-Foot-Tall Backdrop
Best for: Buyers who need more vertical coverage than an 8-foot backdrop provides. The set includes two white panels measuring 5 feet wide by 10 feet tall, a 10-foot warm-white light string, and 10 transparent clips. The lights are USB-powered, and the listing notes there is no remote control.
The elastic tulle is described as wrinkle-free, collapsible, reusable, and naturally draping. Choose this set if your display needs 10-foot-tall panels; it is the only selected option with that listed height.
Limitation: The fabric is described as somewhat transparent, and the product information suggests using more than one pack for greater coverage. Measure both width and height before buying.
Buying Guide: How to Choose a Curtain With Lights Backdrop
What size backdrop do you need?
Measure the full display area, including the height from the hanging point to the floor. Most options here provide two 5-foot-wide-by-8-foot-tall panels, for a listed combined width of 10 feet. Chesjin’s panels are 10 feet tall. Panel width is not the same as guaranteed opaque coverage: sheer tulle can remain see-through, especially when spread out.
Which fabric color works for your event?
White is a flexible choice for many party themes and photo areas. Champagne can complement a warmer, softer palette, while black provides a darker background. Consider how the fabric color will appear with warm-white lights and nearby décor. If coverage matters more than a light, airy appearance, account for the listed transparency and consider whether additional panels are needed.
How will you hang and power the lights?
Check whether you plan to hang the fabric from a rod, use clips, or combine both methods. Fomcet lists a 6.7-inch rod pocket; the other product details emphasize transparent clips. These sets use USB-powered lights, so plan for a suitable USB power source near the display. Do not assume a remote is included: Fomcet, Suppromo-style listings, and Chesjin explicitly specify no remote, while some listings simply do not state one.
Do the light modes matter?
Xiomot lists eight adjustment modes, while Fomcet describes different settings that include solid and blinking effects. If steady illumination is important for photographs, check the listed modes and controls before choosing. Compare lighting length as well: most selected sets include a 10-foot string, and the panel width and light-string length are separate measurements.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can a sheer curtain with lights backdrop be used for photos?
Yes. These products are described for party décor or photo settings, and warm-white lights can add illumination behind sheer tulle. The fabric is transparent, so the background behind the curtain may remain visible.
Do these backdrops include a stand?
The listed package details mention curtains, lights, and clips, but do not list a backdrop stand. Check the package contents and plan a hanging method separately.
Are the lights USB-powered?
Yes. The selected product descriptions specify USB-powered string lights. They do not identify a USB power source as included.
Which option is best for a taller display?
Chesjin is the taller option in this comparison, with two panels measuring 5 feet wide by 10 feet tall. The other selected sets list 8-foot-tall panels.
Are the curtains reusable?
The product descriptions characterize the tulle as reusable. Fomcet also says its curtains can be washed; follow the product’s care instructions when available.
