Thunder Bunny Labs 50 States Map (Driftwood)
This frame option from Thunder Bunny Labs centers on a photos-first approach. Users place their own pictures into each state, creating a personalized map that doubles as a lifetime photo album. The product supports cropping via a free online Map Maker tool to fit each state’s borders, ensuring a clean and cohesive display. The design is available with or without a frame, and the 36″ x 24″ mat fits standard frames, offering flexible presentation for large wall spaces.
Key features include: upload-your-photos for all 50 states, a state-crop tool, direct print options via Walgreens or home printing, and a sizable mat that integrates easily into common frames. This makes it a practical choice for families documenting cross-country trips or growth milestones across decades. The product emphasizes American-made production and a rustic, natural aesthetic in driftwood finishes.
Thunder Bunny Labs White 50 States Photo Map
This white variant from the same brand offers the same core concept—a 50-state photo map that you create by adding your own pictures. The white color gives a clean, modern look that complements bright interiors or minimalist styles. As with the driftwood option, you can crop photos to match each state and print at Walgreens or at home. Framing remains optional, providing a budget-friendly route to a striking wall display.
Considerations include finish versatility, photo-cropping precision, and frame compatibility. The kit focuses on simple assembly, making it suitable for households seeking a personal map without complex setup or heavy framing demands. The 36″ x 24″ mat remains a centerpiece that can anchor a gallery wall or act as a standalone focal point.

Important considerations include the complexity of the photo-application process, the size fit for typical frames, and the availability of a comprehensive accessory set. The product is designed for travelers who enjoy documenting routes and destinations in a creative, hands-on way, rather than a simple mounted photo board.

See Many Places Scratch Off Map

The design invites you to scratch off visited states, revealing vibrant imagery underneath. The 28″ x 22″ poster meets framable size standards and serves as a compelling centerpiece for a travel-themed wall. The included gold foil finish creates a premium aesthetic that pairs well with contemporary interiors, home offices, or study areas.
Key considerations include the contrast between foil and artwork, the ease of scratch maintenance, and framing options. This map is ideal for individuals who enjoy a tactile, interactive display that evolves with each trip. It is a strong fit for modern homes seeking a bold, statement-making travel map.
Wholesome Home Goods Scratch Off Map With Photos
This US scratch-off poster emphasizes photographic reveals beneath the scratch layer. It blends real photos of each state with a scratch-off mechanism, offering a visually rich storytelling experience. The two available sizes—24″ x 32″ and 18″ x 24″—provide framing flexibility to match different wall areas. The design foregrounds travel memories alongside aesthetically pleasing imagery, making it a distinctive option for family rooms or home offices.
When choosing this product, buyers should weigh the desire for large-scale impact against space constraints and frame availability. The photo-integration element supports personal storytelling, while the scratch-off feature adds an interactive, evolving display for long-term use.
Daylily Scratch Off Photo Frame — States I’ve Visited
Daylily’s scratch-off photo frame focuses on a compact, vertical design that holds a single 4″ x 6″ photo. The frame accommodates a scratch-off surface that reveals a vivid background once scratched. It’s ideal for desks, shelves, or small walls, offering a personal, ever-changing display without consuming significant space. The package includes a scratcher tool for a streak-free reveal and a glass front to protect the image beneath.
Pros include a neat, space-efficient footprint and a simple setup. Cons to consider are the single-photo limitation and the need to curate a sequence of travel moments that fit into a vertical frame. This option suits those who want a personal, rotating memory piece in tighter spaces.
Allied Flag US Picture Frame
This 4×6 portrait frame from Allied Flag features a distinguished Navy medallion and a navy-white mat with gold trim. The vertical photo opening measures 4 inches by 6 inches and the outer dimensions are 10 by 10 inches. Crafted from mahogany-finished wood, the frame presents a refined, patriotic aesthetic suitable for home offices, living rooms, or formal spaces. The Navy medallion adds a ceremonial touch that honors service while showcasing personal photographs.
Key considerations include the formal design, material quality, and how the medallion fits with your decor. This option is ideal for commemorating military family members or patriotic themes and pairs well with traditional interiors that value classic wood tones and refined details.
Buying Guide: Key Purchase Considerations
- Display goal: Decide whether you want a photo-led map, a scratch-off interactive map, or a pin-tracking wall. Photo maps emphasize memories; scratch-offs evolve; pins create a narrative of visits.
- Frame options: Consider frame color and style (driftwood, white, black, or wood), frame availability, and wall space. Framed options offer a polished finish, while unframed mats provide flexibility.
- Size and compatibility: Common sizes like 36″ x 24″ fit many standard frames. Ensure your wall space supports the map’s dimensions and that the frame you choose can accommodate the mat or poster.
- Materials and durability: Look for sturdy backing, UV-resistant prints, and quality glass or acrylic to preserve photographs or artwork.
- Accessibility and setup: Some kits include cropping tools or printed photo grids; others require more manual editing. Consider your comfort with photo editing and printing.
- Budget and maintenance: Scratch-off maps require occasional re-scratching for new adventures; photo maps may need ongoing photo management. Compare total costs including frames and printing options.
- Personalization: If memory curation is important, prioritize products that support adding your own photos or customizing the state images.
- Gift suitability: For travelers, family members, or military families, consider sentimental value, frame finish, and whether the product accommodates future updates.
In summary, choose based on how you want to interact with the map. If you prefer a static display that highlights memories, a photo map is ideal. If you want a dynamic, evolving experience, scratch-off or pin maps offer ongoing engagement. Frame style and wall space will guide the final decision, helping you craft a cohesive travel wall that reflects your journeys across the United States.
